Nitty Gritty Values

Mural for swedish fashion retailer Nitty Gritty 2018.

Nitty Gritty is a multi brand retailer, online store and showroom located in Stockholm, Sweden founded in 1991 as a counter reaction to all the mainline clothing department stores dominating the market in the early 90's.

Mural for Senay Berhe

Mural for swedish photographer and filmmaker Senay Berhe’s solo exhibition ‘Do you ever think of us’ 2018.

"Do you ever think of us" read the message Senay Berhe received one night from an ex. The question sparked a variety of thoughts and became the starting point for an exhibition with the same title. The exhibition is the first phase of a body of work about the complexities of the question. About the us and the I, dreams and expectations.

The dynamic exhibition reflects the emotions of a possible family life and the uncertainty about what it would entail. In the eight images, Senay works with color, contrast and composition to find balance in his expression.

"Do you ever think of us" explores the feelings experienced in existential loneliness.

Made with marker on concrete wall.
